Virtual asset exchange Bithumb announced on the 26th that it will open a social contribution community space called ‘Bithumb Sharing Center.’
The Bithumb Sharing Center is a social contribution activity space established to support and provide space for individuals and groups with ideas in the social, cultural, artistic, and environmental fields but who lack opportunities. The center, which is approximately 1,000㎡ in size, is used as a space for various exhibitions and events. It is located a 1-minute walk from Samseong Station in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
Bithumb is also holding an event to celebrate the opening of the center. If you visit the Bithumb Sharing Center every day from 10 AM to 8 PM until the 31st, you can participate in the 'Sharing Challenge'. There will be a citizen participation challenge where Bithumb will donate 50,000 won every time you visit the center and participate in programs such as the Life 4-cut photo shoot, and a 'Bithumb Sharing Daily Challenge' where 100 million won will be donated every day for a total of 1 billion won. If you participate in the program and certify your activity on social networking services (SNS), you can participate in the donation and receive goods.
Bithumb CEO Lee Jae-won said, “We will attempt various forms of social contribution activities at the Bithumb Sharing Center,” and “Bithumb’s efforts to practice the spirit of sharing will continue in the new year as well.”
