1. Market Observation
Keywords: ETH, XRP, BTC
From regulation to the market, Bitcoin is seeing multiple positive factors. On the regulatory front, SEC Chairman Gary Gensler clearly stated that Bitcoin and Ethereum have never been classified as securities, providing important regulatory clarity for the market. At the policy level, Bitcoin advocate Anthony Pompliano has provided advice to President-elect Trump on the long-term economic benefits of Bitcoin.
Institutional investment continues to increase, with Semler Scientific making a large purchase of $23 million in Bitcoin, and Italy's largest bank Intesa Sanpaolo SpA also making its first foray, purchasing around €1 million. Although JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon remains skeptical, the bank's analysts believe that the success of a Bitcoin ETF is difficult to replicate for Solana and XRP.
In terms of market expectations, analyst MadWhale remains bullish, having previously accurately predicted a price of $89,000. Standard Chartered's Geoffrey Kendrick stated that a drop in Bitcoin below $90,000 would be an "excellent" buying opportunity. It is worth noting that despite price volatility, Bitcoin's overall volatility has remained relatively low, and the "realized market value" of short-term holders is still growing, indicating a healthy market fundamentals.
In terms of industry development, the Bitcoin magazine's educational efforts in Japan are progressing, with the goal of reaching one million users. At the same time, Bitwise's Chief Information Officer Matt Hougan emphasized the positive trend of corporate adoption. Overall, the cryptocurrency industry is expected to see strong growth in 2025.
