PANews reported on January 26 that according to Cointelegraph, on-chain data shows that the number of wallets holding at least $100 worth of Bitcoin is approaching an all-time high. According to Binance's data, the number of wallet addresses holding $100 or more in Bitcoin has surged from 24 million in January 2024 to nearly 30 million in 2025, a year-on-year increase of 25%. Binance wrote in a blog post that "this trend reflects the influx of new participants into the market, indicating a resurgence of interest and optimism in cryptocurrencies."
Additionally, Bitcoin's computing power exceeded 800 EH/s in January 2025, reaching a new all-time high, up 33% from the 600 EH/s of the past year. Binance wrote in the blog that "Bitcoin's computing power has recently reached an all-time high, exceeding the total computing capacity of tech giants such as Amazon AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure, which together account for less than 1% of the total capacity of the Bitcoin network."
