We’re thrilled to introduce the IOSG Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) Program, designed to empower early-stage entrepreneurs with the funding, mentorship, and network needed to take their ideas from concept to product-market fit.
“In the new market cycle, IOSG is actively seeking opportunities to collaborate with founders to build the market. As long-term builders in the industry, we are constantly exploring better ways to identify entrepreneurs in the Web3 space with the greatest potential and value propositions. We invite everyone to join us in shaping the next generation of Web3 legends.”— Jocy, Founding Partner, IOSG Ventures
The program reflects our commitment to supporting builder-first founders, offering a comprehensive six-month journey to refine product ideas, experiment with markets, and prototype minimum viable products (MVPs). Starting with Hong Kong and Shenzhen as our first locations, the EIR Program provides unparalleled access to the expertise, capital, and connections in IOSG’s ecosystem.
This program complements our Kickstarter Program by focusing on entrepreneurs who are at an earlier stage of their journey — those still refining their product thesis and exploring early product-market fit. While the Kickstarter Program provides funding and support to projects with a more established direction, the EIR Program emphasizes rapid learning, experimentation, and MVP development.
What the Program Offers
Funding & Compensation
- EIRs will receive compensation throughout the program to support their journey.
- Upon successful completion, EIRs will have the opportunity to secure up to $100,000 in funding through the IOSG Kickstarter Program, gaining access to additional mentorship, demo day exposure, and a network of investors.
Product Thesis Refinement
Through market and product research, EIRs will test and validate key ideas, with guidance on navigating technical architecture, operations, and co-founder recruitment.
MVP Design & Prototyping
EIRs will quickly design and prototype MVPs to validate early product-market fit. Regular demo hours will provide access to feedback from IOSG mentors and industry experts.
Leverage the IOSG Network
Entrepreneurs will gain access to our global network of investors, founders, and partners, opening doors to opportunities in the wider Web3 ecosystem.
Mentorship
EIRs will engage in weekly one-on-one mentorship sessions with senior IOSG members. From tokenomics design to capital formation, our team will provide tailored support at every stage.
Why This Matters
We know that early-stage entrepreneurs often need more than just funding. They need a community of experts, fast experimentation, and high-impact resources to turn ideas into scalable products. This program is built to help founders do just that — and much more.
Whether you’re an early-stage builder refining your product thesis or an entrepreneur with a big idea waiting to come to life, the IOSG EIR Program is here to help accelerate your journey.
Applications are now open! We can’t wait to see the next generation of founders take off.
