Bybit Ethereum reserves have recovered to 50% of pre-hacker levels

Odaily reported that according to on-chain data analyst Yu Jing, 1 hour ago, the 15,000 cmETH unstaking request by the Bybit hacker was rejected by the cmETH withdrawal contract. Subsequently, the hacker authorized the transaction of cmETH on DODO, but did not proceed with further trading, possibly due to the shallow liquidity pool of cmETH. These 15,000 cmETH should have been intercepted. In addition to these 15,000 cmETH, the amount of ETH stolen from Bybit is 499,000 (approximately $137 million), which the hacker has dispersed across 51 addresses.

Odaily reports that CryptoQuant research manager Julio Moreno posted on <platform> that Bybit's ETH reserves have rebounded to around 160,000 ETH.

According to defillama data, including the funds that were hacked, Bybit's total outflow in the past 24 hours was $2.399 billion. Currently, the platform's on-chain verifiable assets exceed $14 billion, of which Bitcoin and USDT account for nearly 70%.
