Pi Network is expected to unlock 188 million PI tokens in March, allowing more than 1.1 million users to access them. This is one of the largest unlocking events, far exceeding previous months.
This token unlocking event is one of the important milestones for Pi Network. Data from ExplorePi shows that the number of Pioneer accounts has exceeded 11.5 million, of which:
- 7.25 million accounts (63%) have PI locked up for 3 years.
- 1.6 million accounts (14%) have PI locked up for 1 year.

Pi Network community reacts to Binance's failure to list
In addition to the unlocking event, Pi Network is facing controversies around the listing on Binance. This exchange has organized a community vote on supporting PI, and the majority of users have expressed their support.
However, despite receiving positive signals, Binance has not yet carried out the listing, causing frustration in the Pi Network community. Many PI fans have left negative reviews on Google Reviews to express their dissatisfaction. In response to these feedbacks, Binance has stated that the decision to list depends on factors such as market liquidity and trading volume, but did not directly address the Pi Coin, although it acknowledged the reactions from the community.
