Odaily reports that according to Lookonchain monitoring, today 10 US Bitcoin ETFs saw a net outflow of 4,842 BTC, of which Fidelity outflowed 1,768 BTC, and Fidelity currently holds 198,199 BTC worth $15.86 billion; 9 Ethereum ETFs saw a net outflow of 10,779 ETH, of which Fidelity outflowed 5,497 ETH, and Fidelity currently holds 435,069 ETH worth about $880 million.

According to CoinShares, digital asset investment products have seen outflows for the fourth consecutive week, totaling $876 million, with investors still in a bearish mood. Bitcoin saw outflows of $756 million, while short Bitcoin saw outflows of $19.8 million. Various <Altcoins> saw outflows, including Ethereum with $89 million, <TRON> with $32 million, and <Aave> with $2.4 million.

Odaily reports that CoinDesk analyst James Van Straten has written that since President Trump's inauguration on January 20, the price of Bitcoin has fallen from $109,000 to $80,000, a typical "news dump" event. Although the price trend may signal a short-term bearish outlook, Bitcoin bulls may view it as a long-term positive catalyst, as the US government has shifted from a hostile stance of the previous administration to a more friendly position. Similar price movements were seen during the highly anticipated launch of the US spot Bitcoin ETF in January 2024. From October 2023 to January 2024, Bitcoin soared from $25,000 to $49,000, a gain of over 40%. However, the launch of the ETF marked a local high, as the price fell 20% in the following weeks, eventually reaching a new high of over $73,000 in March. This time, after Trump's victory in the US presidential election in November, Bitcoin rose 60% and hit a record high of $109,000 in January, followed by a nearly 30% correction. The common pattern in these two cases is that positive news triggered a local high in Bitcoin prices, followed by a significant correction.
