The two parties plan to integrate LINE's mini-apps into Soneium and launch four mini-games in the coming months.
Sony's public Blockchain platform Soneium has partnered with messaging giant LINE to integrate LINE's mini-apps into this blockchain ecosystem. It is expected to start with the launch of four mini-games in the coming months.
The two companies announced in today's statement that this integration aims to enhance the user experience, and LINE's mini-app developers will be supported by Soneium in building communities, strategic marketing, and IP collaboration.

LINE and Soneium plan to launch four initial games - Sleepagotchi LITE, Farm Frens, Moonveil: Puffy Match, and Pocket Mob - in the near future.
"LINE has built a strong presence, and the successful integration of mini-apps into the Soneium ecosystem will be the next step to make this Block more accessible," said Jun Watanabe, chairman of Sony Block Solutions Labs, the unit developing Soneium, in the statement.
LINE is a popular messaging platform in Japan, Taiwan, and Thailand, and is actively involved in the web3 space. In January 2025, LINE launched a decentralized app store and its first dapps, allowing users to access them through the LINE app.
Sony Block Solutions Labs, a subsidiary of Sony Group in Singapore, launched the Soneium mainnet on ETH Layer 2 in January.
