1. Market Observation
Keywords: SOL, ETH, BTC
Market volatility has become the norm. BTC fell below $80,000 again this morning. Crypto analyst Eugene said that the overall trend is still bearish, although there is a possibility that BTC has bottomed at $76,000 or a Double Bottom in the $74-76,000 range, but this probability is decreasing over time. He expects BTC may test the $66,000 psychological level set by Michael Saylor, and pointed out that the uptrend or range of BTC has been broken in all time frames, and $75,000 is now the last key support level. For SOL, Eugene believes $80 is a good buy-in price, but if it breaks below this level, the next support will directly fall to $25.
Meanwhile, Ethereum's performance is more sluggish. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) on the ETH/BTC two-week chart has fallen to a historical low of 23.32. Although RSI below 30 is usually seen as an oversold signal, the continued downtrend indicates that the downward trend is accelerating. Analyst Alessandro Ottaviani described it as a "flying knife" market, implying that buyers find it difficult to grasp the entry timing. If ETH/BTC fails to rebound from the 0.022 level, ETH/BTC may continue to fall to the 0.020-0.016 BTC range, a further 30% drop from the current price. Currently, Ethereum is facing strong competition from rivals like Solana, with VanEck data showing that the trading volume of Solana's decentralized exchanges has surpassed Ethereum. Crypto analyst Benjamin Cowen believes that Ethereum will have to go through a "painful period" before rebounding, and its current trend is repeating the market cycle of 2019, waiting for changes in monetary policy to bottom out.
