According to ChainCatcher news, Telegram founder and CEO Pavel Durov has been granted permission to leave France for Dubai.
Durov was initially arrested by the French National Anti-Fraud Office at the airport last August, who then charged him with "involvement in the dissemination of child pornography images and other crimes such as drug trafficking on the messaging application", and placed him under judicial supervision, requiring him to remain in France.
Possibly influenced by this news, Toncoin (TON) has risen by 20%.
