Under the continuous shilling of CZ, the Meme craze on the BNB Chain is unabated, with large MC memecoins emerging one after another.
Over the past weekend, the trading volume on the BNB Chain has already surpassed Solana. Memes on Base and Sol have quieted down, and the BNB Chain is booming.
This round of Meme craze on the BNB Chain has been dubbed the "Middle East concept coin" or "white cloth market" by the community. It all started on March 12th, when Binance received a $2 billion investment from MGX, an investment institution highly related to the Abu Dhabi sovereign wealth fund.
After that, Binance, as well as CZ himself, along with the community, launched an interaction related to Middle Eastern culture. It was CZ's multiple appearances to spread memes and terms related to Arab culture that brought the relevant Meme tokens to the attention of the community and led to a surge.
According to GMCN data, on March 18th, the heat of Meme tokens related to the BNB Chain continued to rise, with the flagship token Mubarak in this round of Meme market reaching a market cap of up to $180 million, with a 24-hour trading volume of over $50 million. In February, the market cap of the flagship token TST in the previous round of BNB Chain Meme craze had already exceeded $5,000. And the daily trading volume of the Middle East concept coin Mubarakah related to He Yi has exceeded its circulating market cap, forming an inverted price-volume phenomenon.
Notable project tokens
Mubarak
The Romanized version of the Arabic word "مبارك", which means "blessed" in Arabic, and is translated as Mubarak in Chinese.
The rise of Mubarak coincided with a major positive news for Binance. On March 13, Abu Dhabi's MGX announced a $200 million investment in Binance, which also brought capital and attention to projects on the BNB Chain. As a representative of the Middle East concept coin, Mubarak is seen as a "gesture of goodwill" between Binance and Middle Eastern capital.
On March 15, CZ posted a dynamic on Binance Square saying "Going to see a friend this weekend" and accompanied it with Mubarak-related images. This "open endorsement" directly ignited the market's enthusiasm. Affected by this news, the market cap of the Meme token $Mubarak on the BNB Chain once exceeded $20 million. That night, Mubarak was officially listed on Binance Alpha, and its market cap surpassed $50 million.
It was the surge of this token that ignited the current round of Meme craze on the BNB Chain.
As of the time of writing, the token has a market cap of $168 million, up 74.77% in 24 hours.
TST
A test token deployed on the BNB Chain platform four.meme.
The first public mention of TST occurred on February 6, when CZ shared a tutorial video on how to launch a token on four.meme. In this tweet, CZ specifically clarified that $TST was not a token issued by the BNB Chain team or any official institution, but merely a test token used in the tutorial video. The tweet also included a link to the TST/BNB trading pair on four.meme.
On February 9, CZ posted a statement on Twitter about TST. Although the main content of the tweet was to clarify that he "never owned TST", this move unexpectedly triggered a strong market reaction. That night, Binance officially announced that TST would be listed on the Binance spot trading pair, including TST/USDT and TST/USDC. This news immediately ignited the market's enthusiasm, and the market cap of TST soared from $500,000 to $600 million in just a few days, an increase of over 100 times.
It was thanks to the TST token that the first wave of Meme token craze on the BNB Chain in early February was ignited. And a month after its initial explosion, TST also ushered in a second spring, with a current market cap of over $70 million and a 24-hour change of -0.87%.
Mubarakah
Like Mubarak, it is a Meme token related to the Middle East concept that has re-exploded on the BNB Chain. "Mubarakah" (مباركة) is the feminine form of the Arabic word "Mubarak" (مبارك). It has the same meaning, often used to express good wishes.
Its explosion is inseparable from He Yi, the "elder sister" of Binance. In the community, Mubarak is considered to be related to CZ, while Mubarakah is considered to be related to He Yi.
In this round of Middle East-related Meme coin market, He Yi, like her husband CZ, has a strong online presence. She has actively posted Middle East-related character images made by combining her own photos on X.
Because of this, Mubarakah has also received considerable attention from the community. Currently, the token has a market cap of $10 million, up 5.27% in 24 hours.
TUT
TUT is a test token deployed on the BNB Chain, designed specifically to demonstrate how to issue a BEP20 token on the chain through a tutorial. The token has already been listed on Binance Alpha and is currently considered a token in the AI sector of the BNB Chain.
The popularity of TUT is also inseparable from CZ's promotion. It was because he re-shared a video released by BNB Chain a year ago on March 17th, and the TUT token appearing in the video was captured by the community.
Currently, the token has a market cap of $25 million, up 238.5% in 24 hours.
TBNB
Like TUT, it also appeared in the video re-shared by CZ on March 17th. However, its influence is not as strong as TUT's. Currently, the token has a market cap of $24,000, up 386% in 24 hours, with only over 400 holders.
BNB Card
With the popularity of on-chain memes on the BNB Chain, it seems that any hot spot can become the next large MC memecoin. On March 18th, the BNB Builder-related card released by Binance's Chinese language channel also became a "gold dog". After the related graphics were posted on Binance's official X, some netizens created a website that can automatically generate BNBCard, and He Yi also made her own Binance Card and posted it on X, which sparked community enthusiasm.
Currently, the related token has a market cap of $4.4 million, up 83% in 24 hours.
