PANews reported on March 24 that L1 blockchain developer Pharos Network announced the official launch of its first public Devnet on March 6. The Devnet aims to provide developers with a public development and testing environment for experimenting, deploying smart contracts, performance benchmarking, and stress testing for mainnet deployment. The Pharos team stated that the Devnet is only for testing and development, with no actual value for assets in the network and no airdrop eligibility. Future plans include opening a faucet system, improving development tools and resources, and expanding service support.
Previously, L1 blockchain developer Pharos completed a $8 million seed round of funding, led by Lightspeed Faction and Hack VC.
