Planet Daily News: According to the SEC website, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Cryptocurrency Working Group announced that it will hold four new round table conferences from April to June 2025, covering topics such as crypto trading, custody, asset tokenization, and DeFi. The four public round table conferences and their respective dates and themes are: April 11th "Tailored Regulation for Crypto Trading Volume", April 25th "Key Issues for Custody Institutions", May 12th "Asset Chaining and Traditional Financial Integration", and June 6th "DeFi and the American Spirit". Commissioner Hester Peirce called this a "Spring Sprint Towards Crypto Clarity", marking a new direction for the SEC from primarily enforcement to cooperation and a clear regulatory framework. The conferences will be open to the public and livestreamed online.
