Previously, on February 26, Lens Protocol - a Decentralized Social Media platform built on Ethereum - announced the completion of its migration to Lens Chain. To ensure data integrity, the Lens development team collaborated with ZKSync to implement a migration solution using zero-knowledge rollup technology.
The process successfully transferred:
650,000 user accounts, including digital identity information,
28 million follow connections, helping to maintain the entire social graph data,
360 applications, ensuring the SocialFi ecosystem continues to operate without interruption.
Moving data to Lens Chain not only enhances scalability but also improves transaction performance, reduces gas prices, and enhances user experience on the platform.
