However, a recent viral video of Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin seemingly "meowing at a robot" appears to have sparked dissatisfaction in the crypto community. Multiple industry professionals have criticized Vitalik Buterin, such as Cork Protocol co-founder Phil Fogel, who posted on X platform saying, "My professional salary and net worth are largely in the hands of this meowing person." Crypto KOL Wendy O also wrote, "The future of Ethereum is in the hands of this meowing person." Crypto trader Scott Crypto Warrior was even more harsh, stating, "Pray for ETH, Vitalik, what are you doing? Stop giving robots rims, and cheer up ETH instead." As of now, Vitalik Buterin himself has not responded to this video on social media.
