PANews reported on April 5th that according to Cailian News, Berkshire Hathaway, owned by Warren Buffett, issued a statement saying: "Currently, reports about Warren Buffett's comments on social media (including X, Facebook, and TikTok) are all false." On the 4th, CNBC sought confirmation from Buffett about this statement, and Buffett said he wanted to combat false information in an era where false rumors can spread immediately. Buffett told CNBC that he would not make any comments on markets, economy, or tariffs from now until Berkshire Hathaway's annual meeting on May 3rd.
