According to Cryptonews, glassnode's chief analyst James Check posted on X platform that historically, Ethereum has underperformed Bitcoin in most market cycles.
Since Ethereum's launch in 2015, it has outperformed Bitcoin on only 15% of trading days. Ethereum briefly surpassed Bitcoin in its early stages, particularly from mid-2015 to mid-2017, and from late 2019 to early 2020. Since early 2020, Bitcoin has maintained dominance. The ETH/BTC ratio has now dropped to a five-year low of 0.018, the lowest level since December 2019, when Ethereum was priced at $125 and Bitcoin was trading around $7,000.
