According to ChainCatcher, Scroll co-founder Haichen Shen announced on the X platform that the Scroll Euclid upgrade proposal has been voted through. Based on the plan, this upgrade will include the following core contents:
- Network Milestone: Scroll will upgrade to Stage-1 zk rollup in two weeks;
- Performance Improvement: Network throughput exceeds 2000 TPS, with transaction fees lower than 1 cent;
- Technical Upgrade: Upgrade to zkVM Prover validator OpenVM;
- Protocol Compatibility: Support EIP-7702 (account abstraction extension) and RIP-7212 (precompiled contract optimization), and migrate to MPT (Merkle Patricia Trie) data structure to further enhance multi-chain compatibility.
