According to PANews on April 12, crypto venture capital firm 1kx announced a strategic investment in Gunzilla Games, the developer of the blockchain game for the cyberpunk shooter game 'Off The Grid', with the specific amount yet to be disclosed. It is reported that 1kx had previously been skeptical about deploying cryptocurrency strategies in AAA games due to early product execution risks, and this investment seems to suggest an adjustment to their previous investment strategy.
As previously reported, Gunzilla Games also received investment support from fund giant VanEck last year.
