According to Foresight News, the Arbitrum Foundation recently released its future vision and proposed two key transformations: first, strategic, discretionary, and operational decisions will be made by Arbitrum Aligned Entities (AAEs), and second, redefining representatives' expectations to reduce their workload. By empowering AAEs with more autonomy, the DAO can operate more effectively, attract the best builders, and drive the development of new business lines and initiatives.
In this vision, OpCo will serve as the operational coordination body for the DAO, responsible for project management, protocol negotiations, and other tasks, while the Oversight and Transparency Committee (OAT) will oversee all AA initiatives to ensure their execution. This new structure aims to enhance transparency and accountability, enabling the DAO to operate more efficiently.
