According to Foresight News, Aave technical service provider bgdlabs (BGD) has proposed an early proposal for continuing cooperation in the Aave community, aiming to continue serving as the development and security coordination service provider for the next 6 months, extending until October 1, 2025. The proposal seeks community approval for a budget of 2.3 million stablecoins and 4,000 AAVE, with 50% paid upfront and 50% transferred during the 6-month cooperation period. The budget is slightly reduced compared to previous proposals, as community approval of Aave v4 means that Aave v3 modifications will be lighter, and Umbrella will enter an improvement/maintenance phase.

If approved, BGD's next service scope will include: activating v3.4 and making improvements, improving Umbrella after activation (compatible with future v4), expanding Aave to more new networks, better asset and network decommissioning procedures, technical analysis of assets upcoming on Aave, simplifying risk management processes at the technical level, governance proposal review, supporting AAVEnomics implementation steps, continuously improving DAO tools, iterating in the SVR direction, serving as Aave protocol security coordinator, contributing to the final decommissioning of v2, participating in planning any potential v3 exit strategies to support v4.
