Mars Finance News, 23pds, the Chief Information Security Officer of Slow Fog Technology, tweeted that "the root cause of the Kilo­Ex attack lies in a serious vulnerability in the price oracle's access control. Simply put, the oracle should have price information updated by trusted roles, but due to the lack of necessary permission restrictions, attackers were able to bypass the verification mechanism, arbitrarily modify asset prices, and thus manipulate contract logic."
