According to ChainCatcher, based on the Coinbase blog, Coinbase responded to the securities enforcement action initiated by the Oregon Attorney General, stating that the lawsuit lacks merit, similar to the previous lawsuit sent by the SEC, and relies on outdated theories that have been dismissed.
Coinbase said it will fully fight the lawsuit, defend the interests of the industry and users, support federal digital asset legislation to regulate the industry, and emphasized that the Oregon action hinders the progress of the crypto industry.
