President Trump's inaugural fund received a total of $18 million in donations from crypto companies and executives

According to Fortune magazine, federal election commission documents show that U.S. President Donald Trump hosted the most lavish inauguration ceremony in history, having received a record $239 million in donations from corporate supporters and executives. A significant portion of these funds came from the crypto industry, which has been one of Trump's most active supporters: crypto companies and their executives donated $18 million to the 47th U.S. President's inauguration ceremony. Among all donors, Ripple Labs made the highest donation of nearly $4.9 million, ranking second. Ripple has been engaged in a long-term lawsuit with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Pilgrim's, one of the world's largest poultry producers, topped the list with a $5 million donation. Online broker Robinhood (a significant portion of whose revenue comes from crypto trading) donated $2 million. Other major donors included top industry companies such as trading platforms Coinbase, Kraken, and Crypto.com; stablecoin issuer Circle (which has recently applied for listing); and venture capital giant Paradigm, which is approaching historical high points in assets under management in 2024, with the latter two donating $1 million each.
