It is understood that O'Neal was one of the celebrities sued for promoting FTX, having encouraged fans to join the platform in advertisements. After FTX's collapse, these endorsements drew legal scrutiny. Investors demanded over $21 billion in compensation.
Previously, NBA star O'Neal will pay $11 million to reach a final settlement in the Astrals Non-Fungible Token lawsuit.
