PANews reported on April 24 that according to CoinDesk, the popular TV series "Peaky Blinders" will be adapted into a blockchain-based video game and a broader Web3 ecosystem. The series, which has accumulated over 80 million viewers through platforms like Netflix, will be developed through a collaboration between Web3 development agency Anonymous Labs and rights holder Banijay Rights. The game is positioned as a AAA title, set in the streets of 1920s Britain, where players can interact by completing high-risk missions and creating family businesses.
Project development lead Wojciech Gruszka stated that this will be a landmark event for the largest IP entering the blockchain field. The game will include digital collectibles and blockchain-based community interaction mechanisms, aiming to attract traditional audiences into the crypto world through immersive storytelling. Anonymous Labs previously successfully operated the "Simon's Cat" animated IP token project. Currently, specific token mechanisms, launch time, and economic model details have not been disclosed.
