While DEX excels in decentralization, it faces limitations such as high gas fees, slow trading speeds, and dispersed liquidity. He believes that CEX and DEX are not a zero-sum game, but rather coexist by serving different user needs.
Tigran Akhunts also pointed out that currently, CEX is narrowing the ideological gap with DEX by integrating DeFi functions, adopting reserve proof, and implementing third-party audits to enhance platform transparency. Additionally, CEX continues to innovate in areas such as AI trading tools, cross-chain support, and fee optimization to improve overall trading experience and consolidate its core position among mainstream traders.
