The team will use 1TB of decentralized storage through Tusky (Walrus's user-friendly file management tool) and plans to expand to 6TB within the next 12 months. Previously, Pudgy Penguins used centralized storage solutions, facing challenges with long-term access and consistency with decentralization principles. Walrus resolved these issues by providing permanent, decentralized storage, ensuring assets remain always accessible and verifiable. Pudgy Penguins CEO Luca Netz stated that Walrus enables his team to easily upload, organize, and share content. Walrus is a decentralized data storage protocol based on SUI, and Tusky, as an important ecosystem partner, allows teams to manage access rights and version control without deep technical knowledge. This collaboration establishes a more consistent, reliable, and scalable content management foundation for Pudgy Penguins while demonstrating the potential of decentralized storage in practical applications.
