Data shows that the daily average fluctuation of the Korean won-to-dollar exchange rate was 9.7 Korean won this month, with a variation rate of 0.67%, expanding more than twice compared to March (4.3 Korean won, 0.29%), reaching a new high since November 2022. In November 2022, the exchange rate experienced even greater fluctuations due to expectations of the Federal Reserve potentially slowing down interest rate hikes, with a daily average amplitude of 12.3 Korean won.
