According to CoinDesk from Foresight News, the decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN) NATIX, which focuses on Solana map data, announced a partnership with taxi service Grab to provide more precise mapping technology. Grab will expand its business to the United States and Europe through collaboration with NATIX. This partnership includes the NATIX team using Grab's hardware and software technology for map creation.
NATIX allows users to contribute street data and map visuals through smartphones. These crowdsourced data are then used to build decentralized maps that can be utilized by AI models, particularly for autonomous driving and smart city applications. Users will also receive NATIX's native token NATIX as a contribution reward to incentivize their participation in the network.
