Planet Daily News previously reported that Loopscale, a lending protocol in the Solana ecosystem that was hacked, officially announced that withdrawals will be resumed at 10:00 AM Eastern Time on May 9 (10:00 PM Beijing Time on May 9). Although the protocol update patch has been completed and audited, initial withdrawal limits will be imposed on users: SOL deposit users can withdraw a maximum of 2,500 SOL within 24 hours, USDC and USDG users can withdraw a maximum of 500,000 USDC/USDG within 24 hours, and jitoSOL users can withdraw a maximum of 500 jitoSOL within 24 hours. Previously, Loopscale was attacked by hackers last month due to a security vulnerability, with approximately 5.7 million USDC and 1,200 SOL stolen. After negotiations with the hackers, all lost funds have been recovered.
