$PASTERNAK was initially launched on the Clout platform by Ben Pasternak, which attempted to create a "Wall Street + Hollywood of Web3" by tokenizing social influence. Due to early lack of transparency and practical use cases, the token price plummeted from a market value of $80 million to $190,000, being criticized by some investors as a "soft Rug Pull". In April 2025, Clout was renamed Believe, upgrading its technology and ecosystem.
