PANews reported on May 14th that Tether announced the upcoming launch of its decentralized AI development platform QVAC (QuantumVerse Automatic Computer). The platform is said to deploy and run AI agents on users' local devices without requiring cloud services, aiming to protect user data privacy and achieve computational autonomy. QVAC uses a modular architecture and peer-to-peer network communication, enabling AI inference and agent deployment on various hardware such as smartphones, laptops, and embedded systems. The platform also integrates Tether's WDK payment system, supporting AI agents to trade autonomously through BTC and USDT. The first batch of QVAC applications includes local translation tool QVAC/Translate and health tracker QVAC/Health, both of which can run independently of the cloud.
Tether stated that QVAC's goal is to create a decentralized AI ecosystem and usher in an era of "unlimited intelligence". The platform's development toolkit will be open-sourced in the coming months.
