Foresight News reports that Bitlayer, a project based on the Bitcoin ecosystem BitVM technology, has announced a collaboration with the high-performance public chain Sui. The two parties will jointly deploy the trust-minimized BTC bridge solution BitVM Bridge and promote the integration and adoption of the core component Peg-BTC (YBTC) in the Sui ecosystem.
With the launch of Peg-BTC (YBTC), users will be able to explore exchange, lending, and staking DeFi scenarios on the Sui network. BitVM Bridge has already established partnerships with 7 public chains and protocols including Sui, Base, Starknet, Arbitrum, Sonic, Plume Network, and Sundial, and will expand to more ecosystems in the future. BitVM Bridge has entered the final testing phase and is expected to launch on the mainnet soon.
