GOAT Network officially launched on BitVM2 testnet, promoting the implementation of Bitcoin native ZK Rollup

Mars Finance News: On May 15th Eastern Time, the native Bitcoin zk rollup project GOAT Network officially launched the GOAT BitVM2 testnet, becoming the world's first online BitVM2 testnet. This achievement marks the implementation from whitepaper to testnet within a week, accelerating the practical application of Bitcoin Layer 2. GOAT BitVM2 reduces the challenge period from the original 14 days to less than 1 day, representing the current highest-performance and closest-to-deployment BitVM2 architecture. Its architecture integrates zkMIPS zero-knowledge proof, decentralized sequencer, and multi-round random challenge reward mechanism, forming a complete native Bitcoin zk rollup solution. The code is fully open-source, with the testnet comprehensively open, allowing developers to participate in staking, challenging, and bridging operations. The challenge node recruitment is simultaneously launched. The GOAT Network core team stated: "Without a practical incentive mechanism, even the strongest security cannot be implemented.
