PANews reports on May 19th that NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang stated that they are collaborating with Cisco to develop a system aimed at integrating AI capabilities within the 5G and 6G technology frameworks using quantum computing technology. Although currently in the Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum (NISQ) stage, they can already begin utilizing numerous applications, which is extremely exciting. They are developing a hybrid quantum-classical GPU computing platform called CUDA-Q and are working with several leading companies, envisioning that all future supercomputers will integrate quantum accelerators and quantum processing units (QPUs), thereby creating a new computing ecosystem.
