PANews reported on May 20th that according to the official Lido blog, Lido DAO has released the "Auxiliary Proposer Mechanism" (APM) framework, aimed at helping node operators safely adopt new Ethereum block construction tools, such as Proposer-Builder Separation (PBS) and pre-confirmation mechanisms, to improve efficiency and rewards while maintaining decentralization. The APM framework is divided into three layers: mechanisms (such as PBS), protocols (such as MEV-Boost), and auxiliary tools (such as Commit-Boost). To ensure safe deployment, Lido proposes establishing an APM committee responsible for evaluating, approving, and maintaining a list of available APMs, ensuring they align with Ethereum and Lido's values. The proposal has been submitted to the Lido governance forum, and community voting is about to begin.
