According to ChainCatcher, Lido protocol developer pshe.eth tweeted that the RFC draft of the Lido V3 whitepaper has been published. Lido contributors have been working on a new protocol architecture centered around stVaults, which are isolated staking positions that decouple Ethereum staking methods (such as node operators, fees, risk preferences, Sidecar modules, etc.) from the liquidity layer. stVaults are expected to become highly composable basic components that can serve as the core foundation for creating strategies, protocols, and institutional staking products.
pshe.eth stated that the current draft covers a broad design scope and is expected to be continuously optimized in the coming weeks, with the goal of finalizing the whitepaper by mid-summer this year.
