
PANews reported on May 22 that according to Cointelegraph, the jury of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York found former SafeMoon CEO Braden John Karony guilty on all three charges, including securities fraud conspiracy, wire fraud conspiracy, and money laundering conspiracy. The trial lasted two weeks, with Karony consistently maintaining his innocence. The jury will subsequently decide on asset forfeiture, and the sentencing date has not yet been announced. According to Protos, he may face 20 years in prison.
