OpenAI to open office in South Korea

According to foreign media reports, OpenAI has established a legal entity in South Korea, seeking to further promote the adoption of its artificial intelligence technology. The ChatGPT manufacturer stated in a press release on Monday that it plans to open an office in Seoul in the coming months and is recruiting staff to support collaboration with businesses and policymakers. OpenAI's data shows that South Korea is the country with the most paid ChatGPT users outside the United States. This will be OpenAI's third office in Asia after Japan and Singapore. The San Francisco-based company said it currently has nearly 40 employees in Japan and 20 in Singapore.
