Hossein Shariatmadari, editor of Iran's World Newspaper, warned: "After the US attack on the Fordow nuclear facility, it is now our turn to act." As a prominent conservative voice, he previously claimed to be the Supreme Leader Khamenei's "representative".
He stated: "As a first step, we must launch missile attacks on the US naval fleet stationed in Bahrain without hesitation or delay, and close the Hormuz Strait to ships from the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, and France." Currently, the Supreme Leader Khamenei has not yet made an official response to the US attack on Iran's nuclear facility.
