According to Foresight News, Bybit recently announced that based on the Indian tax framework, virtual digital asset service providers need to collect 18% Goods and Services Tax (GST) from Indian residents, covering service fees and transaction fees. To meet this requirement, Bybit will start charging GST on certain services from July 7, 2025. Users will be able to see the GST amount and corresponding fees in their transaction history.
Additionally, Bybit will cease providing services such as traditional cryptocurrency loans, Bybit Card, spot grid robots, DCA robots, futures grid robots, futures grid robots, and futures portfolio robots to Indian customers starting from 16:00 on July 9.
