According to ChainCatcher, in an interview with Anthony Pompliano, CZ revealed that Binance achieved approximately $1 billion in profits during its first year, potentially becoming the first startup to generate $1 billion in profits from its initial stage.
CZ stated that these profits were mainly realized in the first 3 to 8 months after the company's launch, particularly during the 3rd to 7th months when Binance's trading volume peaked. He added that while some companies reached a $1 billion valuation faster, from a profitability perspective, Binance might be the fastest startup to achieve this milestone.
