Followin message, July 8, 2025, Hong Kong - Digital asset education platform Uweb (University of Web3) announced the successful completion of its angel round of financing. The round was led by emerging investment institution Avenir Group, with participation from well-known venture capital firms such as Ronin & Quinn Capital, Singchain Capital, and First Merit, as well as multiple experienced Web3 industry angel investors.
The funds will be primarily used to deepen course content and product system construction, accelerate market expansion, actively apply artificial intelligence technology, and promote global development strategy. This will enable the output of multilingual course content to serve users worldwide, with the mission of "building a top global Web3 academy and empowering one billion people to embrace digital assets".
Uweb has also reached a strategic cooperation with the Hong Kong Registered Digital Asset Analyst Association (HKCDAA), responding to the "Hong Kong Digital Asset Development Policy Declaration 2.0". They will jointly promote talent standards and professional talent cultivation programs in the Web3 field, aiming to train and certify over 100,000 "Digital Asset Analysts (CDAA)" and other fintech professionals by 2030.
