According to ChainCatcher, based on the monitoring of on-chain analyst Ember (@EmberCN), the "100% win rate $ETH whale" has closed its 50,000 ETH short position, incurring a loss of approximately $710,000.
The whale began establishing its short position on June 11 and had a floating profit of up to $22.83 million when ETH dropped to $2,200 on June 23. As ETH's price rose above its opening cost of $2,725, the whale fully closed its position today at $2,740.
Despite this loss, the whale still maintains a total profit of $4.88 million from ETH trading.
