Positioning in ETH isn’t as nearly short as  what many claim. A huge chunk of it is delta neutral as a result of the basis trade.
However, if ETH can sustain outperformance towards 4k, I imagine it will force many to unwind and be directionally net long.
Long way to go, but there’s a lot of fuel.
