According to the latest market news from ChainCatcher, the issuance of TRC20-USDT has increased to 81.6 billion tokens, reaching a new historical high. Since the beginning of this year, the TRON network has cumulatively issued nearly 22 billion USDT. Currently, TRC20-USDT accounts for more than half of the total USDT issuance across the network, with 67.52 million holding accounts and over 2.633 billion cumulative transfers. Additionally, the crypto media platform CCN recently reported that TRON carries more than 55% of global USDT trading volume, processing over 2.4 million USDT transfers daily, which is almost 10 times that of Ethereum.
TRC20-USDT is a dollar-pegged stablecoin issued by Tether on the TRON network, and its fast transfer speed and low transaction fees have attracted a large number of users. It is supported by multiple exchanges including Binance, HTX, OKX, Bitfinex, MEXC, KuCoin, Gate.io, and Poloniex. The TRC20 version of USDT will significantly enhance TRON's existing decentralized application ecosystem, bringing higher overall value storage and stronger decentralized exchange liquidity, and providing a more convenient blockchain entry for enterprise partners and institutional investors.
