According to ChainCatcher and the Financial Technology Times, cryptocurrency service provider Crypto.com has signed a memorandum of understanding with Dubai Duty Free to explore crypto payment implementation. Under the agreement, Crypto.com will provide crypto payment options both in-store and online at Dubai Duty Free, offering travelers more diverse payment choices.
Dubai Duty Free's revenue reached 4.118 billion dirhams ($1.128 billion) in the first half of this year, representing a 5.34% increase compared to the same period last year. This collaboration marks an important step for Dubai in its journey to become a global cryptocurrency hub.
