According to ChainCatcher, citing Jinshi's report, the Bank of America's global fund manager survey in July shows that Treasury Secretary Besent is the most popular candidate to replace Federal Reserve Chairman Powell. President Trump is expected to nominate a new Fed chair in the second half of 2025, with Powell's term set to end in May 2026.
The survey indicates that 26% of respondents believe Besent will become the next Fed chair, followed by 17% supporting Walsh, 14% supporting Waller, and 7% believing Hassett will be elected.
