According to ChainCatcher, Bitlayer, a project focused on Bitcoin DeFi infrastructure, has officially released its summer conference video. The conference, themed "The Ultimate Bitcoin DeFi Infrastructure," featured project co-founders Kevin He and Charlie Hu systematically disclosing Bitlayer's latest technological advancements and detailed product roadmap, clearly defining its goal of building the ultimate BTCFi infrastructure.
Based on the conference's disclosed information, Bitlayer's recent key progress includes:
- 1. BitVM Bridge mainnet Beta launch: After more than half a year of internal and public testing, the first Bitcoin cross-chain solution based on the BitVM paradigm, BitVM Bridge mainnet Beta version, has been officially launched;
- 2. Release of Bitlayer Network 2.0 Whitepaper: The team has officially released the Bitlayer Network 2.0 Whitepaper, marking Bitlayer Network's entry into the Rollup architecture phase;
- 3. Bitlayer Network V3 will focus on high-performance execution: V3's core objective is to address the high-performance execution challenges of Bitcoin Layer 2 networks, dedicated to achieving: a customizable high-performance native transaction engine, a horizontally scalable cluster system architecture, an EVM-compatible high-performance parallel execution engine, and providing a user experience on par with CEX.
To date, Bitlayer has raised a cumulative $25 million, with a powerful investment lineup including Polychain Capital, Franklin Templeton, ABCDE, StarkWare, OKX Ventures, Alliance DAO, and UTXO Management, among other renowned first-tier investment institutions, providing a solid foundation for the project's continuous R&D and ecosystem development.
